How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign progressively straightens your teeth using a series of custom-fit braces (aligners). The expertise of our Invisalign Platinum Elite dentist and cutting edge, 3D computerised planning accurately predicts your entire journey and outcome.

Each brace repositions and prepares your teeth for the next set in the sequence, incrementally moving the teeth into the desired position as prescribed by our dentist.

Approximately, every 6-8 weeks Dr Tapesh Anand will ensure that your treatment is progressing well, discuss your experiences, make any necessary adjustments and avoid any complications from arising.

At each appointment, you will be provided with 3-4 sets of braces. Every tray (brace) is worn for approximately two weeks at a time (unless otherwise specified by our dentist).

For the best results, you are expected to wear your braces all the time, only removing them to eat, drink, brush or floss.

How long does it take?

Treatment time can vary depending on the severity of each individual. The range can be anywhere from 4 -22 months, the average being between 8-12 months.
